Buffalo Pirate's Booty™

This recipe has to be one of our best yet! Perfect for game day and extremely easy to put together for a small or large crowd. Enjoy!

Ingredients:

  • 10 oz bag Pirate's Booty™ (or any other corn puff snack)
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce (we like Frank's)
  • Trader Joe's Onion Salt, optional garnish
  • Dried dill, optional garnish
  • Directions:

      1. Heat oven to 300 degrees. Arrange rack in the middle to lower portion of the oven. In a small sauce pan, mix together butter and buffalo sauce until butter is melted. Set aside and let cool, (very important).

      2. Prepare a sheet pan with foil. In large bowl pour in your corn puffs, then drizzle with cooled sauce. Mix very gently until lightly covered. You want to be careful not to over sauce as the puffs can get soggy very quickly and will not dry out.

      3. Scatter mixture evenly onto sheet pan. Once the pan is full prepare another pan with the remaining puffs. You don't want to over crowd the pans as the puffs will steam and not crisp.

      4. Bake for 5 minutes, then lightly stir mixture on pan. Then bake for another 5 minutes. Some puffs will get a little browned but not burnt. Remove from oven and let rest, then pour into serving bowl. Sprinkle with Trader Joe's Onion Salt and/or dried dill for a little ranchy flavor.
